Data tariff war has sprung from Jio Prime’s entry in the telecom market. Now after Airtel, Idea, Vodafone has lowered data and call tariffs for users at affordable prices. Under Jio Prime Plan, giving 1 GB of data every day and unlimited calling and messaging for 303 rupees. At the same time, offering 2GB 4G data / daily and unlimited calling is offered at a plan worth Rs 499.
Vodafne New Plan To Counter Reliance Jio
The Vodafone company has launched a new tariff plans offer to hit Reliance Jio Prime’s offer. In which users will get 1GB 4G data / daily and unlimited callings at the rate of 346 months. Its validity will be for 28 days. Moving one step ahead of Jio Prime, the company has brought these offers to all the users.
Vodafone said in his statement that “this new plan has been lowered by keeping users of different segments in mind.” Users will able to meet their data needs.
Idea Cellular and Airtel Plan To Counter Reliance Jio
Recently, Idea Cellular will get 14GB 4G data in the price of Rs 345 and announced an Unlimited Calling Tariff Plan, while Airtel India has introduced tariff plan for its subscribers at Rs 145. So Airtel will get 14GB of 3G / 4G data and Airtel To Airtel Free Unlimited Calling for one month.
Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani said during his speech celebrating 100 million subscribers that Jio will keep a check on tariff plans of other telecom operators and will offer 20 percent more with its plans. So now, Jio is offering free Add-ons to its Prime Membership Subscribers. Any existing Jio subscriber, on signing up the Prime Membership Programme and recharging with Rs 303 or Rs 499 plan will now get additional 5GB and 10GB of data.
Looks like Vodafone, Airtel and Idea brought a knife to a gunfight after all.
