In Google new update, it launched a new feature for sending and sending money through Gmail on Thursday. This feature was first made available on the Web, and now it has also been started on the Android app. After the user taps the attachment button in the Gmail android app, you can easily transfer money through Google Wallet by clicking on the option on Send Money. On the Web, a small $ icon is created near the compose button, so that money is transferred. On the Android app, it is hidden in the attachment button before which you can attach file, photo and video. That’s why Google Wallet is now available on all Android smartphones and sending money is also easy.
Steps To Send and Receive Money via Gmail App
The method of sending money is very easy. You just have to tap on the attachment icon and click on the ‘Send Money’ option. Requests for cash can also be sent from the ‘Send Money’ option and the user will receive the money without having to install any additional app without having to install it. You can recharge Google Wallet through your debit credit card and then send money to any Gmail android and web user in the world as an attachment.
- Open Gmail.
- Click the Compose button.
- Enter the email address of the person you want to send money to.
- Add a subject and message text (optional).
- Then Click the $ icon (£ for UK users).
- Enter the amount you want to send and choose a payment method or add a new one.
- Click Review.
- Click Attach.
- Also Look over your message one more time and click Send.
This feature is not yet available for iOS users. But this feature of sending money via Gmail is expected to reach the IOS user soon. Apart from this, it is worth noting that this feature has just been released to the US user.
